I need to work from home. I have 19 yrs. experience as a call center representative. So, I thought doing telephone work from home would be good. I've tried WAHA and Workingsol and others but, I haven't heard from them. The only ones I see is adult telephone chats that's hiring immediately and pays well and doesn't ask for an investment. I found this on a Christian website listed under virtural jobs. I do not want to sin. Please don't call me crazy or beat up on me. Only positive feed back please.

This chat will have a sexual content over the phone from straight men from across the country. This is working through an agency who handles the calls. There's no exchange of information on either part. It's reported to the IRS and SSA. I need to work from home but I don't want to sin. Please any sensible, positive feedback.

That is a sin.
Proverbs 6:32
But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.

Matthew 5:27-28
27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

If you do not think that you talking yourself is a sin, do you believe that the other person on the line would be sinning? I do because lust is, according to the Bible, a sin. If you are causing another person to "stumble" (or sin), I believe the Bible calls that sinning. Sorry if I used the word "sin" too much :P.

Paul says that if eating meat around certain people would cause them to stumble that he wouldn't eat meat around those people.

Of course, this is my opinion.

It's not immoral at all. It's a case of supply and demand. You are only talking to people - ok so it may be rude but who cares. As long as the money is good and you enjoy it then go for it and good luck to you.

Is it sex? Yes.
Is it a sin? That depends on your religion. I think most Christians think sex between two people who don't know each other, for money, is prostitution. And that's a sin, isn't it?

you are not going to meet them just talk over the phone. just do what your heart tells you to do and don't tell your family or friends exactly where you are working as this could lead to complications
