My boyfriend doesn't want me to get my new kitty fixed . I told my bf that my cat will run off and spray everywhere . And my kitten is starting doing that . But my bf said he think it's wrong to do that . Like it robs him from his man hood . How can I convince him to let me get him fix.

That is so nice that you care about cats. I am a cat person my self. Lets see.................

Tell your boyfriend that unless he wants more kittens in the house than getting your cat fixed is the safest way for that.

No....... I don't like that. How about...........

Tell him that you want your cat fixed so that his kittens don't suffer the loss of a beatiful family and home. If your boyfriend feels like he is being robbed from his man hood he should be even more robbed when he finds out that if your cat has kittens his kittens might be wondering the streets someday and could be starving. Ask him what he would do without food on the streets and a confort of a fire when it is cold and a airconditioned house when it is 100 degrees outside. Tell him that cats need to be loved just like humans do.

"There That should get to him." "Maybe that will work...............
Try it. Good luck"

Never mind the spraying and running off...have either of you ever heard of unwanted kittens??? You just saved this one, why add to the problem?

I run a shelter, and as any of us will tell you, you are doing the best thing in the animal world today by getting that cat fixed. Thanks to your boyfriend and you, how many countless litters will the unneutered cat create that wind up starving, freezing or getting the needle after five lonely days in a pound because the kitten is one of thousands no one has homes for?

I wouldn't worry about convincing your BF of anything. He has some manhood issues himself, apparently, if he's relating to the cat. YOU have to do the responsible thing to insure you don't leave a trail of miserable, unwanted, euthanized kittens behind this cat. Please take the cat to the vet ASAP.

Good luck to you.

Maby if you get a list of cats that have to be put down each year and show it to him, he'll see your point of view. Also, I hear that unfixed male cats tend to run away or get lossed while looking for females to mate. Maby you can also convince him to talk to the local shelter or you can and ask how many cats/kittens they have to put down each year just because some people didn't bother to have their cats fixed, that might help. And as for him threatening to take your cat away, tell him no! He has no right watsoever to take YOUR cat away!

hmmm, I'm thinking that not only should you neuter your kitten, but you ought to see if you can get a "two-for-the-price-of-one" deal and neuter your boyfriend at the same time. Frankly, the thought of more people like him scares the hell out of me.

Get your cat neutered, tell your b/f to sit down and shut up and if he tries to take your cat away, call the police. Good Gawd!

Who needs a boyfriend telling them what to do with their own pet. Dump the boyfriend and fix the cat.

First of all your boyfriend is a dumba** and sounds extremely ignorant. YOU HAVE TO GET YOUR CAT FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!! Bottom line. Get it done. Or give your cat to someone who cares and will take better care of it then you and your stupid boyfriend. Its because of people like him that help create the overabundance of homeless and stray animals.

if the cat goes outside and has kittens then the cat won't spend alot of time with you because hes with his kittens and what we did to our cat was when he was old enough we would let him outside so he can play and climb and things put if you do do that put a collar on him

If it's your cat alone, then your boyfriend really doesn't have anything to say about it. I opt to get it taken care of anyway, especially if you're not wanting more kitties ;)

How about getting your b/f fixed? Aww. No really, men are a bit sensitive about that stuff, but you should go ahead anyhow.
