Because the government doesn't care about the common man. We used to live in a Democracy but now days it is ran by a bunch of money-hungry Republicans.
And we don't have "health care" in America....we have "Sick Care". If you were to fall over right now and have a heart attack, the ambulance would come get you, take you to the hospital, and if necessary the surgeons would operate on you to fix whatever was wrong. There was nothing "healthy" about that heart attack.
If we had actual "health care", then that heart attack might have never happened. Hospitals and doctors won't help a person to prevent something serious from happening....they kind of ignore your needs until the very last minute.
We can't get help in our own damn country. Now if you were a foreigner who needed an operation and came to this country, the doctors and hospitals would be all about helping a foreigner out.
This subject is pretty near and dear to me.
Good Luck!

A government big enough to give you everything need is also big enough to TAKE away everything you could want
I live in the USA=a capitalist country not a socialist country
and unfortunately it is also all about supply and demand-can you explain why medication is cheaper OUTSIDE the US than in it?
