I've always wondered... They have every other flavour in rippled-style chips... but not ketchup! Is it because of too much flavour or what exactly is it?

Thanks in advance xD
PS: I dont mean as in brands, just like the style of chips... if that even makes sense.

There was a place here in Ohio that did make them I'll check and see. If I find them I'll post a website or a phone number. This one is from Herr's.

Doesn't Ruffles make ketchup chips?
All ruffles are rippled, and I'm pretty sure I've seen just about all the normal flavours, including ketchup and dill pickle and all that...

Pringles made Ketchup chips for a limited time. I've yet to see rippled chips.

My kiddo didn't much care for the ketchup flavor, though. And he's not all that picky. :)

Actually I saw some the other day at Wal-Mart. they had steak & westichire (SP) sauce, ketchup and a few other different flavors. I tried the steak ones and they were pretty good. I don't think they were rippled though, more like the original Lays.

It's probably just a supply and demand thing... if lots of people don't want ketchup-flavored rippled chips, then the chip companies don't research and develop them... it costs the chip compainies quite a bit to research, develop, market and produce their line of chips

Kerr's make ketchup chips, they also make steak and onion, and both are fantastic. It's in most grocery store's but they are small bags, not big

There's not a demand for it! Not that many people like ketchup chips. (I LOVE THEM)

Mayhaps because they may not taste too good. I don't know that the two flavors would work well together...too much salt?
