If those are the only beers you have tried, you haven't really had a beer yet. Try some stouts like guinness and/or some expensive European brews such as Lev, all flavors are good. If you want a good American Beer, try Blue Paddle or Fat Tire or any of the samuel adams.

Yuengling's Black and Tan and Killian's Irish Red are pretty good for the price, if you want to grab a $5 six pack at the local grocery. St. Pauli Girl Dark and Beck's Dark are very good. If you're ever in Anaheim, go to JT Schmidt's across from "The Pond" on E. Katella. They're a microbrewery and have the best domestic beer I've ever drank; all of their beers are great. If you find yourself in Germany, you're obviously never far from a great brew, but Augsburger Pils is the best beer I have ever had anywhere. I've also never had a bad German Dopplebock of any brand. Guiness Stout is a great beer as well. Comparing any of these beers to Michelob and Corona is like comparing a 1980 K car to a new Benltey!

Any Bar with a beer menu will have a Hefe Weizen. This is a German word that translates to "strong wheat". The beer tastes sweeter than American style beers. It generally comes in a large "16 ounce or so" brown bottle. These beers should be poured gently down the side of a glass until about one third is left in the bottle.
A good Hefe Weizen will have a deposit of yeast settled around the bottom of the bottle. As you are enjoying the beer already in your glass, gently swirl the bottle holding it by the neck. This will loosen the yeast and make the remaining beer in the bottle a bit cloudy. Whenever you have it loosened, pour it into the glass. The beer will now be very cloudy and slightly sweeter.

Most people add a lemon wedge to the top of the glass. It is not neccessary. This style of beer is the best in the world. Be careful they taste so good, it is easy to get carried away.

There are many good brewers of this type of beer. Paulener is among the most popular.

Enjoy

Oh my, you must be young.

Newcastle
Mirror Pond (if you can get it)
Guiness

Sam Adams makes decent beer that you can buy just about anywhere. Mirror Pond's only sold in the NW. Truly I don't know what to suggest--our minimarts here are stocked with local microbrews, so I have no idea....

PS--you don't ever want to be seen with Michelob.

Killian's Irish Red, Fat Tire, Sam Adams, Pete's Wicked, Heineken. Much higher quality beers. Flavorful without being too harsh.
