Hello there my advice is to attempt to access services and groups which are catered for Aspergers, or ask your Gp for numbers of others, get in touch, hold your head up high and enjoy yourself. Also if you find an interest it gives you an opportunity to extend your social network enabling you to meet people with the same interests.

You may be able to find a support group in your community where people with similar conditions meet. Also, I am sure you could meet others with Asperger's online, and there you can make friends and maybe meet a nice girl. When you meet new people, just be yourself and don't be ashamed of having Asperger's syndrome. There are lots of nice people that you can have things in common with that don't have the same condition, you don't have to limit your options.

Public Radio did a program on Aspergers a few months ago. They gave an Internet site for chatting - It sounded like it was a welcome relief because it gave those who could not talk a chance to communicate on equal footing. Also there was a book written by a man with the syndrome that overcame some of the obstacles because he had studied acting and was better able to blend. Try NPR.ORG - they may still have the information in their archives.

I'm an Aspie and I have bipolar 1 disorder too... There are support groups out there that can help. They are even done online like in yahoo groups. Just go to groups.yahoo.com and do a search for asperger's. Lots of stuff comes up...

Don't be in too much of a rush to find a girlfriend honey - most of us are a real pain in the ***!
There are lots of people out there who don't have aspergers who would like to be your friend too, just be yourself and try not to be too shy when you get the chance to meet new people.
Go out and have fun making new friends and you will easily find a nice girl who shares your interests and thinks you are the bees knees! :-)

hey..it will all come in time,why dont you try to see if there's a self help group near you?i'm sure you'll meet people there,and even if not,there are a lot of understanding peolpe out there who dont have aspergers that will understand you,take care
