I want to propose. We met through the internet and have met and we both feel the same way. We're in different countries but want to be together. What are your best ideas for a special proposal?

First pick a ring and have it delivered by someone in a tux…after the ring gets delivered and she shuts the door place dozens of roses of all colors at her door and knock on it. When she answers the door ask her to marry you and let her know that the reason you didn’t just choose red roses is because you wanted to be more than her lover and husband for the rest of your lives, but you want to be her best friend. Get some friends together, have your fiancee be accompanied to a high place to get sequestered there, then come on horseback to rescue her and when you arrive on the scene give her the ring and ask her to marry you. Yes this idea has some fairy tales conotations but it is sweet.
Another idea is for both of you to meet in paris or a country of your choosing and when you arrive go to a nice restaurant and before the main course comes which will be after you both have ordered get on one knee in the restaurant and ask her to marry you. I am not married myself but I have heard many enouraging stories of marriage proposal.
Tie a string to her finger and slide the engagement ring unto her finger when she says yes!
Simply ask her based on the experiences you both have had together. Try to have other friends around you if you are nervous;
you will need a emotional encouragement because it can be nerve racking.

My husband proposed to me last year on a gondola under a bridge with a godolier who sang a beautiful Italian song. It was unforgettable!

just always be ready to propose and when the time is right, do it. Just make sure she is feeling good about herself at the time and it's not at a public place near a public restroom while the toilet is flushing He he!

Fly out to where she's at and ask her to marry you. That would mean so much to her... but maybe you should surprise her, and not tell her at all... maybe you will find out something before you propose... how sure are you about her?

Does she want a kitten or puppy? This is only a good idea if she LOVES animals and wants one....suprise her by getting her a kitty/puppy, and tie the engagement ring on a ribbon around the new pet's neck. Suprise her with the pet, and when she notices the ring, get down on one knee and yada yada yada. I know I would LOVE that!
