An Ostrich is a bird and it is a bit bigger than you. A male can weigh over 300lbs stand 6' 9" and run over 40mph. It might put up a good fight. I hope this helps. Go to Wikipedia and type in Ostrich. I hope this helps.

Here's a good old American girl - Cheryl Haworth. Shes 5 foot 9 & 289 pounds & she'd really kick your ***.
Or weren't you using "bird" as in the British slang for a lady ? Doesn't do to make mistakes with this !

Im 6'4" and 250 pounds, but i wouldn't take on a lot of the big flightless birds, especially the cassowary which will disembowl you or tear your throat open.
This bird has a 5 inch claws and a large horned growth on its head

Why don't you go outside and try taunting some birds? Go somewhere really public like an outdoor mall, find some pidgeons, and insult them loudly. Maybe they will fight you.

Not against Emus, Gnus, or Ostriches, for sure. And even an angry rooster or peacock or penguin might give you a hell of a pecking.

I think an ostrich would win against you. You'd never be able to catch the thing and itd peck at your face.

Almost any wild owl or hawk would blind you in the first few seconds. It's one of their primary defensive attacks against humans.
