You'll NEVER be the same. Never be flat. Always be a little pudgy.

I was in the same boat as you were. I was so ready to lose the weight after my baby. I am going to tell you exactly what I did. I only gained 16 lbs. while I was pregnant (not very good I know) but I have alwasy been worried about my weight. So needless to say I am 5'5" and pre-pregnancy weight was 125. I got up to 141. I didn't have a c-section but I will swear to you that if you work really hard for a few months working out, you have to get really devoted to it, then your tummy will be FLAT. I bought Billy's Bootcamp and it was the best buy of my life. My daughter is now 17 months old and after lots of patience and workouts I am now down to 110 which is smaller than I have been in a long time. I did the ab workout everyday and I have a HOT six pack. I hope you have fun and cherish your newborn. I hear women say all the time that they have children and they never lost the baby weight because they couldn't. Anyone can lose weight!!! I hop you all the best. Also I will tell you another 2 tips...cut your calories, and when my daughter was 4 months old I was running a mile. I had never run before in my life but the Billy's Bootcamp gave me results so quickly that I never lost track of my weightloss goals. I have a full body tone and am very happy. Have fun and good Luck.

Give yourself some time to get your shape back. You just had a major surgery 7 wks. ago, and it takes at least 8 to heal on the outside, not to mention at least 6-12 mos. to heal internally. Your muscles have been cut, so they probably won't go back to their original shape without exercise. And you shouldn't do anything that would help for at least another month or so to allow time for your incision to heal properly and not open back up internally. Take the time to enjoy your new baby. Don't worry about your stomach just yet.

I have heard that women who have c-sections have a harder time getting their tummies flat b/c your stomach muscles have been cut through and dont work the same after they heal. You could look for a lipo-dissolve center in your area...its not the suction kind of lipo so its noninvasive, it just dissolves the fat away. Google it for your area.

well what works is sit ups
but you have to wait until
u'r body is ready to handle
the exercise u'r still to fresh
to do anykind of exercises.

maybe a year or alittle more depending
on your body mean while what
many people do is wear girdles or body shapers
to tight dought.
only what u'r body is able to handle
dont push it to much.

First give yourself time to heal properly, then ask your doctor, midwife or health visitor what is safe.
