eff that dude. Everyone has issues of some kind and love is about accepting them and help dealing with them.

You need to realize how it effects your relationships though. If you are overly intimate or sexual or really reserved, it might because of your past. When you find the right guy and have a strong relationship with trust, telling about your dark secrets is good. but I wouldn't go telling some guy that after a month or two.

being sexually abused as a child or adult is something that you carry with you forever...it is not your fault that some sick mother fu*ker abused you when u were young...you need a man who can be there for you to support you in this. it seems to me that you need a man to comfort you and understand your hurts that came from your childhood....who ever that @sshole was that left you when you told him that doesn't realize how hard that was for you to say...and the fact that he told you to get out of his life is ridicuous...but it's better off that way.if he acted that way you dont need him for anything...dont worry there will be another man that comes along who will be what you need for support and understanding.

I think that you did the right thing in telling him, he is the terrible one not u.
I have been through the same experience when i was younger and i have told my boyfriends because in my thoughts is if i tell them than maybe they might understand me that little bit more.
What is a rel if you do not have 100% honesty and trust?

if a guy that you are with cannot handle your past there is no way he should be in your future....if he leaves you b/c of somthing like that(especially the fact that you couldent helpit!!) than he is an #$%hole!!! and doesant deserve you! you need someone that can handle that sort of thing...dont worry there are plenty of guys out there that can!

in my opinion i think that you are better off with out that person. it is obvious they did not love you. and i think it is important to tell the person that you intend on spending your life with about it. not just someone that you think your in love with. you need to spend a great deal of time with someone and know in your heart that this is the one, before telling them this. not because you have anything to be ashamed about. you, just need to be able to know that this is something they can deal with.
