I've used neosporin for one and vaseline for one and bag balm for the other. all worked fine.

Yes, it will work. What you're looking for is an ingredient called Bacitracin, which is what the tattoo artist will normally give you to help heal the tattoo. Neosporin contains this. Of course, you could just get the generic kind, it has it in there too.

NO! If you use neosporin on a tattoo it could push the ink right up and out of your skin. A tattoo needs to heal slowly, so A&D is best for it.

A matter of fact, it is sexy. I tattoo, and there are some places on the body that doesn't surprise me anymore. But for real, there are places that make the tattoo very sexy, and that is one of them. a thumps up.

I used Neosporin on my tattoos and it worked fine, in fact, better than other lotions or creams.

when I got my tat...I was told not to use neosporen(sp) because it has an ingreident that causes fading.

Use A&D! When I got my tat they told me that not only would it fade, but the ingredients in it that heal scars will make your tatto look "piecey" and "splotchy"

yes when i got my tat, the artist suggested using neosporin and a&d. do not use vaseline or lotion. it will make your tat look faded.
