Such idea contradicts many verses in the bible
John 5
28. Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice
29. and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.
Romans 2:7 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
Revelation 20:9
And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Nepesh and Psuche often are translated as "soul", but the bible clearly states that it can die and it alsways refers to the physical being.

I just want to clearify a misconception about "Hell" that many just don't understand..
When and how will Hellfire be "kindled"? Yes, that is right..Hell does NOT burn forever and ever..it's effects are enternal>
"So shall it be in the end of this world. The son man shall cast them into a furnace of fire." Matt. 13: 40-42
"The went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire CAME DOWN FROM GOD OUT OF HEAVEN, and devoured them". Revelation 20:9
"The righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner." Proverbs 11: 31
In other words...At the end of the world, God himself with kindle hellfire. As the Holy city comes down from God out of Heaven (Rev. 21:2), the wicked attempt to capture it. At that time, God will rain down fire from HEAVEN and NOT FROM EARTH, and it will devour the wicked. This fire is BIBLIE Hellfire.
Hell will be the entire world on fire. It will be 25,000 miles in circumference-its heat so great that everything on earth will be "burned up".
How long will the wicked suffer in the fire? Hmmm? ok...
"And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me to give EVERY MAN according as his work shall be." Revelation 22:12
"And then he shall reward every man according to his works." Matthew 16: 27
"That servant, which knew his lord's will, and neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes." Luke 12: 47,48
So, The Bible DOES NOT tell how long the wicked will be punished before recieving death in the fire. God does specifically state, however, that ALL WILL BE PUNISHED according to their deeds. This means some will receive greater punishment than others, based upon their works.
Will the Fire eventually go out?
"Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliever themselver from the power of the flame; there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it." Isaiah 47:14.
"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth." And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Revelation 21:1&4
It's saying Yes, indeed! The Bible specifically teaches the Hellfire will go out and that there will not be "a coal to warm at nor a fire to sit before it". The Bible also teaches that in God's new kingdom all "former things" will be passed away. Hell, being one of the former things, is included, so we have God's promise that it will be abolished!
Is God a Torturer?
If God tortured His enemies in a firery horror chamber throughout eternity, He would be more vicious and heartless than men have ever been in the worst of war atrocities. An eternal hell of torment would be Hell for God also, who loves even the vilest sinner!
Lastly....ETERNAL..what that means....Ever last fire!
"Depart from me, ye cursed in everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels." Matthew 25:41
"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:15
"For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be." "The enemies of the Lord shall consume; into somke shall consume away."
Pslam 37:10,20
God's purpose is the Hell will destory the devil and all sin and sinners and make the world safe for eternity. One sinner, if left on this planet, would be a deadly virus forever threatening the universe. It is God's plan to isolate sin and blot it out of existensnce for all time.
An eternal hell of torment would perpetuate sin and make its eradication impossible. An eternal hell of torment is not part of God's plan at all. The eternal hell of torment theroy originated not from the Bible, but from MISGUIDED people who were perhaps inadvertently let of the devil?!
There is NO BURNING HELL at this moment in time..that happens of course at the 2nd coming of Jesus. And there is NO eternal Hellfire....the effects of Hellfire are eternal..that is the difference. It's permament/Final!
You WILL NOT find nowhere in the Bible where there is a eternal Hell Fire burning now; because that does not exist! Look all you want, and you will not find it. It is not there. I hope this helps to answers some of your questions on Hell.

Hell doesn't exist yet. The Bible teaches that space (the heavens) was stretched out like a tent, during the first day of creation. When the universe is destroyed, the heavens (space) are said to "roll up like a scroll". Those that haven't accepted Jesus' offer of forgivness will simply be left here, in this universe. The universe will collapse, as Jesus releases His hold on it, and all matter/space/time what have you will crush into a point of singularity- a black hole. This is why hell is described by Peter as the "storm of darkness"- n apt description of a rotating black hole.
That is why hell is described as a place of darkness (photons are ripped apart by the extreme gravity) and heat. Also, whenever Satan is said to be judged in the Bible- he is always said to be "crushed" or "crushed beneath your feet". Earth apparently IS near the dead center of the universe, as space was stretched out from that point. (energy was added to a thin film of space surrounding eart on the first day.
The lake of fire is a portal into the event horizon of the hole/hell. The lake of fire is in Heaven, which exists outside of time, and thus, the lake can be accessed now, even though the universe hasn't been destroyed yet (from our frame of refrence/ vantage point.
When the judged are tossed into the lake, and the judgements are done, the portal will close, like a throat shutting, and so the Bible talks about death being "swallowed up."
Jesus mentioned the event horizon of hell when he spoke of the "valley" between heaven and hell, which not even an angel could cross. The event horizon of a hole is the place where no event can take place (time stops). It may be that time inside a hole continues as normal. Can a spirit be trapped by gravity? I believe so. In this extreme state.

the e book isn't about threats, it is about the exhilaration and forgiveness delivered by technique of Jesus Christ. it is a love tale between God and guy. There aren't any "threats" of Hell in the bible. there are notwithstanding warnings that those who deliberately decide on Evil might want to have a similar punishment of devil. Iti s no extra of project than telling aperson that in the journey that they devour cyanide they'll die.

I tell christians the bible never says you go anywhere when you die. Your breath leaves and your body returns to the dust, but as an individual can't go anywhere. To go and live somewhere after death, biblically, that's after a resurrrection. The dead know not any thing.

The Dead Are Judged - Revelation 20
11Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
