in standard windowed programs (like a browser):
1) X in the top left corner.
2) Right click on the window title in the main task bar and select close.
3) Alt +F4.
4) File->Exit (Quit, etc.)
5) Right click the program icon in the top right corner and select Close.
6) Task Manager?

You can click the Close button, go to File:Close, Right-click on the task-bar icon, Go to the task manager, click on the task and then End Task, shut down the computer and allow Windows to end the program and right click on the top bar of the window and choose close.
Those are all the ways I know.

One that other people don't seem to have mentioned is double-clicking the program icon in the top-left corner of the window. This will close your program immediately, too.

Don't know 6 ways but three are:- Click the cross in the corner, press Alt and F4 at the same time and ending the process through the task manager.

aside from the three already given... hmmm...
press and hold the power button till the computer turns off...
pull the pc power plug or in case of blackout... and
wreck apart your cpu
these ways you don't only turn off a program you also turn off windows :D
