Do NOT go get vaccinations today!!!! The puppy should NOT receive a second set of vacciantions until he is 10 -11 weeks old.
Six weeks was actually too young to be given the first set. A puppy should never receive any vaccinations before it has completed it's 7th week and preferably not until 8 weeks. Doing it younger interfers with the natural immunity it has..It can void out the vaccination and it can lead to vacciantion problems later on.

The shot he received a week ago will simply kill the shot given today. The shot today will just look like a virus to the shot a week ago or moms imune system if it is still active.
The way the puppy series works IS NOT how most people think. It will only be one of the three shots in the series that inoculates the dog,,, the problem is we never know which one. Mommy's immune system will kill the shots until it shuts down, the first shot given after that is the one that does the job. The reason for doing a series is to reduce the time of exposure to a minimum.

Over vaccination can lead to many problems later in life.
The American Animal Hospital Association has recommendations for when dogs and puppies should receive their vaccines. This is the protocol that all 27 vet schools in the US follow. http://www.aahanet.org

It's alittle early for the second shot. It should be given 3 weeks from the last shot. If it's the same shot as the first shot...It's only waste'n your money.

the wormings wont be a problem , but you need to point out to your vet that he just had his first set not to long ago , could just be a honest mistake , or could be to get more money out of you hope that it is the first one. i have heard of some vets not honering other peoples shots if a breeder or local pet store has done a couple of the shots , but if they are done to close they can hurt your baby ie making him vomit ,shutting down his immune system , just make yourself very vocal

I think shots should be about 3 weeks apart. Your vet should be on top of this....
