I was running my bath water and everytime I do that he loves to jump in and swim. I thought cat's hate water. Why does other cat's hate water , but mine doesn't ?

That's pretty normal actually, I had a cat that would jump in the bath every time I ran one, he use to also wait for me to get out of the shower and then he'd roll around on the shower floor. Some cats just like water.

Most cats dislike water, but cats can like water, it is not a 100% hard-fast rule with all cats.
I have a cat who loves anything to do with water. His favorite is having the shower on and jumping up at the spray.

Some cats love the water all cats are part of the cat family such as the tiger or lion and I believe the tiger is the cat who loves the water so maybe your kitten got it's water loving trait from it.

Actually some cats do like water. Siamese sometimes and the Norwegian Forest cat.

Cat's not wierd just unique. Some cats love it while others can't stand it. My best friends cats refuses to stay out of the bath with his son. They take enjoyment in what you like.

My cat does go in the tub, but not with water filled in, if there is a little bit of water in it still, he drinks the water, you think your cat is weird? My cat goes in the sink when it wants water from the faucet*sp?*

My cat love the bath to but only if it has bubbles so I don't think it weired she love playing in the bubbles so when it time to give her a bath I put bubble in and she okay but plan water she freaks now that weired.

if its a maine coon cat it is really normal for them they love the water by cousin had one but didn't know it at the time because the cat was just a little kiten and one day it just jumped into the tub.

he's normal in his own way. Every cat is different. I've given some of my cats baths, they think its fun.
