Presuming you have tried the obvious - stripping the bed right off, taking the mattress off, pulling it away from the wall etc etc?
Why not try placing the leg of an old pair of tights over the hoover's hose attachment and going thoroughly over the carpet with it - if it is on the floor anywhere, it will get sucked up, but the tights will stop it going into the hoover itself.
Check in her drawers (not THOSE drawers!) - it may have slipped off when she reached in to get something.
As a last resort - buy a metal detector and 'sweep' the house....
Good luck

Hi last time i lost my ring i had just been tidying our room and it had slipped off and landed in the bin in the bedroom. I even looked in the bin loads of times and i didnt see it, it wasnt until my mum had helped me look for it she notice it in the bin. But the best thing to do is for your girlfriend to retrace her steps and let her look for it for a while then you go and have a look for it as you may just come across it. Other than that i cant help you as she could of lost it any where unless she was sure she had it on whilst in the bedroom

Check along the edge of the room where the carpet joins the skirting boards. There is a little dip in there where all sorts of things hide or try under the mattress, the waste bin, under the bed etc.
Good luck in your search.

I lost a ring once for a few months. I had put it on my dresser and I had a cat who liked to knock things off the dresser. I FOUND IT IN MY DRESSER DRAWER!!! It was lost for what seemed like a year but it was in my sock drawer the whole time!

rent a metal detector. If it is a high enough caret a detector could help. check the laundry too - bedsheets/pocket etc. Also the dryer exhaust and the car....
the sink drain. the shower and washroom - anywhere hands could get wet
Good luck!

Get her to sit down, close her eyes and mentally retrace her steps from the time she last had it on. This really can work!
Failing that, look in her sister's room on the dressing table or by the sink in the bathroom!?!

Take all the sheets etc off the bed and lift the mattress. Give everything a good shake.

there is obviously somewhere you haven't looked!
the bathroom is often a favourite for Rings, or the kitchen sink.
other than that, I'd suggest under draws, in draws, anywhere were the ring can get caught and come off un-noticed!

Try inside duvet cover.
If you hoover bedroom put a stocking or tight over nozzle and that will stop it being sucked into cleaner.

I bet she is. I don't know what to tell you if you have looked everywhere just comb over the whole room and see how it oges. And you could always try vacuum and then check the bag to see if its in there.
