She is about 6 years old. I first noticed little blood spots in random areas around the house, like she had dribbled a little. I took her to the vet and he said she is probably stressed out. Her urinalysis came back normal. He recommended I get this spray for my home, which had cat hormones in it and would supposedly not make her want to pee on the floor. I can't afford it and I am sick of cleaning up messes. I have bleached the tile where she always goes but it's not helping. I can't get rid of her, she's like my kid! Please HELP!

Yes cats can get stressed out and can have Blood in their urine for no apparent reason, without a UTI. (It is called idiopathic Cystitis) I have one that has it at least 2x per year. She is on XD diet by Hills, you may want to try that. There is a product called Knock Out that takes out the cat urine smell off of any surface. It is not that expensive.
Good luck

If your house still smells like pee here is a home remedy that works. I have had to use this many times. My cat does the same thing. For every 16 oz. of peroxide ,two small drops dish detergent and two tea spoons of baking soda. Good luck P.S. Cats do get stressed out.

first did you buy any new cat litter many cats won't like there litter so will go any where they want also if your cat box isn't clean daily they will do the same thing also. and if thats not the thing when you see her doing her buisness put her in the litter box and after reward her with a treat after a while she will get the idea of hey if I go in my box I get a treat how cool is that. Hope that helps.

Maybe there's something wrong with your litter box... The location might be somewhere she can't get to, or it might be somewhere she doesn't want to go. Or she might not like the litter...the smell of it... or it's probably in need of cleaning...You should clean her litter box often.

Cats do not get "stressed out" -- they are not human beings. I think you need to go to a better vet.
