I just found out by accident today that I have two harddrives. How is this possible not know that computers have two harddrive? Can anyone enlighten me? I have a sony desktop PC? Do you all have two hard drives ? I got a C & D harddrive.

Either A) you DO physically have two hard drives in your comp.
or B) you only have one physical hard drive BUT someone (perhaps the manufacturer of your comp) installed a PARTITION on your hard drive (this "splits" the hard drive into two compartments, and is displayed to you (in your software) as two separate drives.
You can find out for sure by looking up your computer's model number on the manufacturer's website - look at the specifications/components of the original computer

Not everyone has two hard drives. On my computer C & D are hard drives E & F are cd drives.

You could have them set up in a RAID configuration, with one drive mirroring another to prevent data loss

your c drive is usually your dvd or cd drive- and your d drive is usually your hard drive

I have an A,B,C,D,E,F,G...etc harddrive cause I named as such...{:-{}.
