I am pregnat with a girl. because of bad diet and lack of care when i was growing up, i faced difficulty with my hair. I do not wish the same for my daughter as ive come to realize hair is really an important aspect of a womans confidence. I am black african jamaican, if that should make any difference with the foods or vitamins i should take.

I think that has more to do with genetics than anything but eat healthy and take your vitamins. That's always a good thing to do.

Just eat healthy foods. Take prenatal vitamins and eat a well balanced diet.

If you are taking a good prenatal vitamin, that should do it. Let me just say that with all the birthdefects that are possible, the last thing you should worry about is hair.

Amount of hair is determined by genes, not nutrition. Certainly nothing you eat would have a PERMENANT affect on your baby's hair.
