I am a recovering drug addict. It wasn't heroin but it was an opiate that I was using, and I understand that the *high* is similar to heroin. At first, I loved the feeling using opiates gave me. But everything went downhill after that and within a couple of years I was nearly dead. I was dead emotionally for sure. Addiction can also be defined as devotion. And, when I realized that, I didn't want to be devoted to drugs. So, I finally stopped using. But as far as sex goes, I can tell you this: If you use a narcotic to get high and become addicted you will get to a point where you can't even get sexually aroused. So, I don't think it's worth the trade off. Peace.

drug addicts would say anything to justify that drugs is better than anything on this world when actually the drug suppresses a lot of your emotions and feelings and most of the time u don't want sex as u don't even have a sex drive

well have you seen "requiem for a dream"? theres a couple on there that love each other but need heroine more. she(jennifer connelly) ends up prostituting and he(jared leto) gets amputated. the mother goes whack becuse shes on dope too. but i do believe that heroin must mean more to them than sex.

Whoever stated that was not having sex with the right people.
Anyways I tend to hold in higher regard the statements of lacquer heads and crack smokers.

The payback for taking it is too gruesome to justify its use even if it were a milion times better than sex.

I don't care how good heroin is while you're on it, one thing you can say in favor of sex is that it won't kill you.
Reefer is much safer than heroin.
