I have had the same problem. Stupid straight hair!
What I found helped a lot with mousse, though, is to french braid the hair the night before, then use mousse.
But the most effective way to get curly hair is to get foam curlers to sleep in or heated curlers [but I would only suggest using heated curlers if you know that you will have at least 45 minutes in the morning to spend with the curlers in your hair].
The length of your hair also affects how easily it curls, so I would recommend sleeping in curlers for long hair and using the other methods for shorter hair.

If you bought mousse you should use one designed for straight hair, it will tell you if it will produce curly hair, sorry but most of the time it's hard to get straight hair curly not unless you get a perm. Try soem curly gel with firm hold and scruch hair as you go. This works best for short hair becasue it gets down to the roots

it depends on what type of mousse you buy but also you're not going to get super-curly hair out of perfectly straight hair.
Ask a hair specialist.

sorry but thats the best result you'll get if u have very straight hair.. its lucky to even get it wavy with just a mousse!! you'll have to use something more effective, like rollers or a curling tongs to get those corkscrew curls... what mousse did you buy? id love my hair to be wavy by just using mousse!
