See if you can find an honest tire store that will examine your vehicle, at no charge, and give you a diagnosis and cost to repair.
I know this is near impossible as every shop seems to have $$$$ signs all over them.
I owned a shop that gave free inspections and honest repair costs so I know there must be another one somewhere.

If it is at a specific speed, ie., 40 - 45 mph, and you increase or decrease your speed and it stops, it is almost certainly wheel-balancing required. Also check for tyre damage (especially a flat spot) and correct tyre pressures.

Improper balancing, bent wheel, bearings completly worn out (thought it would be making a terrible racket).

You probably need to have a wheel rotation, and adjustment. That doesn't cost very much, but if you don't do it soon, you will have serious damage to your brakes, and will have to pay more to have them replaced.
