When you run what muscles are used and how?

it would take several pages to fully answer this question but the muscles used are basically every muscle in the body to some degree.

the 4 major muscle groups are calves, thighs, hip flexor and rear muscle groupings usually refered to as the hamstring. Further propulsion is gained by achilles heel groupings.
