This good guy friend of mine asked me to be his girlfriend one day, to which I told him to wait. While i have developing feelings for him, I dont feel that I'm being pursued. He doesnt call, he doest text, he doesnt take the initiative to want to talk or build up the relationship, etc. I feel that I am always the one starting a conversation or sending him nice stuffs. We're across the sea from each other too.
What's up with his attitude?

I appreciate that you have a healthy self-esteem and that you realize you desire to be pursued. That is important that the pursuit be from both people. If this is a good friend, you should be able to level with him. Just ask him in a non-confrontational way why he made such a declaration to you but then hasn't done anything to substantiate it since. If he isn't willing or able to step up, you should re-evaluate continuing this relationship as anything other than friends. Good luck!

Let me see Malory....after getting past your whining, I am thinking.....why in the heck would you want engage in a long distance relationship like this? Or why would he for that matter. He wants to be with you when he sees you, but has another chippy across the sea.

Do you have to be pursued? Maybe he's letting you have your space and respecting the time zone difference. Let him know what times are good times to call or txt and see what he does.

Maybe he is a little shy and just does not know what to say. Does not mean he does not like you. Just means he does not know how put his feelings into words that you would understand..

You deserve better. You know what you want, pursue a guy who can give you what you expect otherwise you'll hate him and yourself for sticking around.
