we will leave what Jesus says out to help the Muslims and the athiests and others that feel Jesus lied or whatever? have you been good enough to go to a pure holy God-We will forget about the need for an innocent blood sacrifice to forgive sins (Leviticus 17vs 11)
we will forget the promise of Jesus comming to die for our sins- Isaiah 52vs13-53vs12 "He will be exaulted. He will be marred more than any man and lay down his life as a lamb to make atonement for sins."

ABOUT HELL AND HEAVEN THOUGH lets remember ok?

Jesus said from heaven about it (Revelation 1:1)
about knockin to come into our heart (Revelation3:19&20) forgive our sins and be our friend
Hell -"gnashing teeth forever and torment, crying and torment forever" Revelation 19-22nd chapter for rejecting Jesus word and salvation (John 12:48 "Jesus saith, He that rejecteth my words, will have those words to judge them in the last day.")
HEAVEN IS TOLD BY JESUS TO BE WONDERFULL ITS iN REV19-22-WHERE U GOIN? GUESS?KNOW?

Don't worry about trying to make people happy...keep preaching Jesus like He is! WHOOOO!!!! Hell is real and so is heaven. They say we shouldn't offend others by saying they are wrong or they are going to hell, but how will they ever know if no one tells them? They won't. Jesus wasn't shy one bit about telling others they were on their way to hell........AMEN!

Yes, we need to show love, humility, and be just like Jesus, but as we all know, we need to be fired up! I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that I am redeemed!!! And David, I KNOW you are as well!! WHOOHOOO!!!! We are going to glory! Ohhh yesss!!!! When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be!!! When we all see Jesus, we'll sing and shout the victory!! Praying that each person in this world gets at least one chance to hear the gospel and repent....

Keep on preachin' it!! Do it like Jesus did....we may offend, but that's the way it has to be sometimes for a person to realize they are wrong and in sin.
Living for Jesus a life that is true, striving to please Him in all that I do! Yielded His life an atonment for sin....opened the lifegate that all may go in!!!

FIRED UP!!!

Your question is quite reasonable and all of the excuses (they won't remember) are new lies to cover up the initial lie! but Hellfire is not a Bible teaching... I'm one of Jehovah;s Witnesses and I have asked myself the same question... but it's worse than that... Like... How can they love and worship someone NOW, (when they DO know and remember me), whom they believe even holds the idea of torturing me (or anyone else for that matter) if I don't submit to their theology!? Hellfire and torture is slander against God, personally and is not in harmony with MANY things the Bible teaches... It just ain't so... In this way, otherwise reasonable people are inclined to throw out the baby (the Bible) with the bathwater (the false stuff the Churchs teach) = )

David,
You are a Christian. Stop this evil and deceptive form of missionizing. It degrades Christianity.

. It is, by definition, impossible for it to be "jewish" to believe in jesus. "Jewish" is, by defintion, what jews have historically and contemporarily believe. Since in neither scenario do we find "believing in jesus", then we must clearly realize that belief in jesus is not something "jewish". You can call it "biblical" (and still be wrong), but certainly not "jewish".
. On the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). Clearly this isn't about jesus.
. And Isaiah 7 is clearly not messianic if you read the whole chapter. and "alma" doesn't mean virgin either. You'd know that if you spoke hebrew (I guess learning basic hebrew wasn't part of your "extensive jewish upbringing", huh?)
. On the side, Isaiah 9 can't be about jesus since, according to christianity, he's the "son" not the "father" (as the verse states). Nor did he have control of the government (to the contrary, the roman government killed him). And he certainly did not establish "endless peace".

oh, and lastly, I've decided that you truly epitomize everything I find intensely intellectually unsatisfying about christianity.

If I died this minute I'd be sound-my karmic slate is well in credit, in fact I probably have a surplus of good karma. No honest person ever went to hell regardless of their beliefs.

When we die we return to dust. No feelings /emotions at all for dead ones. If you don't believe open a tomb and ask the occupant there.

Assuming there is a heaven and a hell?

I'm assured of Heaven.

Thank you for your concern.

I'm going wherever you aren't--I can't stand you now, let alone for eternity. I'd very seriously burn for eternity than have to put up with you, or anybody like you--blessed be!
