My name is roxy, I'm 20. I met a guy not too long ago in a chat room and we hit it off. I got his number and we started talking over the phone and texting. About a month ago I got a call from this girl and she told me that she was his girlfriend of 3 years and they just got an apartment together. She told me she was in love with this guy and wanted to marry him. She asked me if I'd stop contacting him and I said I would. I haven't stopped yet. I fell in love with this guy. I want him to leave her and come be with me. He doesn't really talk to me anymore. I try to call and text him but I hardly get a response back and its usually short and brief. He says him and his girlfriend are celebrating their anniversary on Oct. 19th and he is thinking of asking her to marry him. I can't let that happen. I want him to be with me not her. How can I get him to leave her for me? How can I stop him from asking her to marry him?

the thing is I knew he had a girlfriend. He wasn't attached to me but I became attached to him. He told me he was just looking for friends but I was texting him telling him I loved him and I wanted him but he wouldnt tell me that. He isn't a liar. He was honest with me. Don't think bad of him. I just want him to leave her asap. I'm sick of waiting. I've been waiting for him for 2 months already

I am going to tell you what I am sure all the other girls want to tell you but won't leave him alone. Weather you want to hear this or not find your own man he has someone who he obviously loves and it's not you. Give me a break some guy you never met only talk to on the phone for 2 months, tell me what do you love ? His voice. You don't even know him. What makes you better than his current girlfriend and what makes you think that if he did do what you want he wouldn't do the same thing to you? Have some respect. Last but not least what if he was your boyfriend and some girl was doing what your trying to do how would you feel?

If you really love this guy like you say you do, then you would want him to do what makes him happy. And marrying this girl seems to be what makes him happy. You said youself that you knew he had a girlfriend and all he wanted was friends. So why would you do this to yourself? Try talking to new people and delete his number from your phone. It will only make things easier. This is all easier said then done, but he is not making any effort to leave her. So I would take that as a sign to move on.

You sound like you're working your way toward becoming a stalker, complete with matching restraining orders.
You aren't in love with him. You're in a contest for him, one that you created and no one else really wants to play. You've never met this guy, and he's made it clear in Guy-Speak that he doesn't want to continue.
If he does leave her, it'll be for his or her reasons, not over you. If he calls you then, which he might or might not, you'll always know you were his second choice. Do you want that? I doubt that you do, but even if you did, what guy worth having wants a girl that wouldn't mind being the Reserve?
Get back to reality.

You need to move on my friend he has made it clear to you that he is going to ask this girl to marry him he has not been talking to you as often also when you first met him he told you he was looking for friends you can wait till your blue in the face but the guy does not want to be with you I know this is not what you want to read but please be with a guy that is single and can give u his heart 100% and not be with a man that is about to get married to someone else

Please leave him alone! How many times does he have to tell you that he doesn't want to pursue a relationship with you?? I hate to be harsh, but a girl who pursues an unavailable guy is really PATHETIC. Stop now before you get in trouble for stalking and harassment. Are you really that cruel and selfish that you would ruin two people's lives? I hope not. Wake up and smell the coffee. Show some pride and get yourself some help.

You are gonna wait forever on this guy. If he wanted to be with you he would have already done it. He was just testing the water to see what was out there. No sense in wasting your time and energy on him. Go for someone who will really make you happy. Don't you deserve all of him, not just bits and pieces?

If he's willing to cheat on his girlfriend of three years with you, then who's to say he woudn't do the same to you.
Just get a puppy. Easier to take care of and they will love you unconditionally always.

Seriously though...just find another guy on-line. There are MILLIONS and on-line dating rules. That's how I found my last two victims....I mean girlfriends.

Listen up it sounds like this guy is happy in his relationship. This is something very rare A GOOD HONEST GUY that told you the truth and never led you own does not desever to have his good relationship torn up. My advice is respect and love him enough to let him go cause he isn't leavin her! And all your doing is making yourself miserable by waiting.
