It is true, but you also have to rely on God to give you answers to your prayers through the Holy Spirit. The Bible man made mistakes and isn't perfect. How can God be reduced to our simple languages? He can't. But you can get some very important information from the Bible that will lead you in the correct direction. Pray and He will answer you. Just do the best you can and good luck!

I know that God's word and Will can still be found in some of the "modern" texts that we have... but only by the leading of The Holy Spirit... over the centuries man has mucked up the translations... it is true that no original text of The Christian bible exists today... But God's word and will are still being made known to His people....

Is the Bible reliable?

One of the most important questions asked by non-Christians as they look into Christianity is whether or not the Bible is trustworthy. Can the Bible be trusted. If it has been corrupted, then we cannot trust what is attributed to Jesus' words and deeds. So, is the Bible reliable or not?
Yes, the Bible was reliable. The original writings of the Bible have been lost. But before they were lost, they were copied. These copies were incredibly accurate, very meticulous, and very precise. The people who copied them were extremely dedicated to God and their copying tasks. They took great care when copying the original manuscripts. This copying method is so exact, and so precise, that the New Testament alone is considered to be 99.5% textually pure. This means that of the 6000 Greek copies (the New Testament was written in Greek), and the additional 21,000 copies in other languages, there is only one half of 1% variation. Of this very slight number, the great majority of the variants are easily corrected by comparing them to other copies that don't have the "typos" or by simply reading the context. You should know that copying mistakes occur in such ways as word repetition, spelling, or a single word omission due to the copyist missing something when moving his eyes from one line to another. The variants are very minor. Nothing affects doctrinal truth and the words and deeds of Christ are superbly reliably transmitted to us.
The science of studying ancient literature and its accuracy of transmission to is called historicity. The Bible is so exceedingly accurate in its transmission from the originals to the present copies, that if you compare it to any other ancient writing, the Bible is light years ahead in terms of number of manuscripts and accuracy. If the Bible were to be discredited as being unreliable, then it would be necessary to discard the writings of Homer, Plato, and Aristotle as also unreliable since they are far far less well preserved than the Bible.
The Bible was written by those who were inspired to God. When we look at the New Testament we realize that it was written by those who either knew Jesus personally, or were under the direction of those who did. They wrote what they saw. They wrote about the resurrection of Christ. They recorded His miracles and His sayings. It comes down to whether or not you believe what it says about Christ. Do you?

2 Peter 1:16
We did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

If someone told you a movie was REALLY GOOD and you went and saw it and it was REALLY Good you would be like, "WOW, my friend told me the truth." Same thing with the bible,
If you put the bible into practice, you will see that what it's saying is true because God's promises come to life for you.

I think the Bible had it's place, back in history life was perceived in a different way to how we see life today.

Today one knows that God is within us, and his name is many. We can 'feel' God when we experience joy and we do what 'feels' good and right. We bring love and light to eachother, we are his arms and legs. We wear his face on each of our faces. When we unite as a human race, we experience God on the highest level. When we give healing and compassion to one another and love each other our Christ Consciousness Self is at work. We are not separate from God or Jesus or any Ascended Master or Archangel, we are all one with them, on an energy level.

You will not find this connection in a book that causes fear and confusion, putting you in the sinners seat in a God Fearing fashion. God loves and does not judge us, we are the ones who do all the judging.

You have a light shining within you, go within, connect with this light for it is your etheral umbilical cord to all that is and ever will be. Listen to your prayers as they will be answered and the answers come in many forms. What feels true to your heart...is where you look.

The Bible is the word of God.Given to mankind for our well being
and for instruction in the way we should live our lives. "All scripture
is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving for sett-
ing things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of
God may be fully competent completely equipped for every good
work."(2Tim.3:16,17)also.."A revelation by Jesus Christ, which God
gave him,to show his slaves(servants)the things that MUST shortly
take place."(Rev.1:1)The Bible is completely trustworthy and harmonious throughout.

The Bible is indeed true--the inspired Word of God. Our society is trying its level best to say God doesn't exist and young people who have not been exposed to faith in a Higher Power have bought into what society is saying. One day soon, they will find out that God does indeed exist but then it will be too late. I pity those of you who blindly follow the crowd because "the crowd" is going to hell. Get yourselves to Church and listen--the truth is there. But time is short.

I would look into Biblical prophecy and see how everything that was supposed to happen has. Especially look into the one about the fall of Babylon to the Medes and Persians. It was foretold in Isaiah 44:24 - 45:7. I find prophecy to be very faith strengthening.
