I am wanting to get get my nose pierced, but i am not sure if il like it, and im just fifteen, dont want to be left scarred for life if i decide to take it out...but ive been told that it wont scar. Is this true? has anyone experienced it who could tell me...thanks!

No but I've had many many other things pierced.
No one on here can tell you definitively if you are or are not going to scar. It's based upon several factors...
If you want to remove it, now's the time. Sooner the better. It's relative to the texture of the material, time, and genetics as to whether or not you'll scar.
If it's an old piercing you'll have more scar tissue - that's why the sooner the better.
Surgical Steel is coarser than Titanium. Plastic is the worse. Gold is very rough as well. Also relative to whether or not your body has a mild/unnoticeable allergic reaction to the material. This is why Titanium and surgical steel are preferred over plastic/gold/silver.
Infection can cause a build up of scar tissue.
Genetics: Do you keloid? If so then you might scar.
Ignore the person who said the nose is cartilage. They apparently know nothing of anatomy. The portion of the nose that is pierced is simply tissue...
At first you will want to leave your hands off the site - do not excessively touch or clean the site. If you remove it and notice scarring, use Mederma.

I had my nose pierced twice...The first time i got it i had to take it out because it wouldnt heal and it just was a whole mess...so after waiting about a year or so...i got it done again and same thing happened thing just wouldnt heal...so i had to take it out ...what im getting at is that even though i had my nose pierced in the same place twice...i didnt scar..so its def true...you wont scar if u get ur nose pierced.

I've had my nose pierced for 6 years, and I love it. Just make sure you go to a reputable body piercer who uses a needle and NOT a gun. If you get your nose pierced with a gun, you will have a much larger hole (because, let's face it, it's an earring gun!) that will be more likely to leave a scar.
If I ever take out my nose stud, you can see a small dark hole, but that is it. The longest I went without it was two months, and nothing at all happened to it.

I pierced my own nose at 15. The nose is cartilage, so it will never fully heal, there will always be a small hole there. But, if later in life you want to put it back in, it's way less of a hassle since the hole never really closes. It's a two way street on this one, you will have a scar, but it's hardly noticeable.

It will actually leave a little "hole". I had mine pierced at 16 and I loved it. I would still have it today if I wouldn't have gotten sick and lost my nose ring! (I couldn't find another one in time before it closed up)
I might get it pierced again someday, when my child is old enough to not accidentally hit me in the face, lol.
As for the tiny hole it leaves, it's not that noticeable. The only people that notice mine are people that have had one themselves!
And by the way, I did have mine done with a "gun" and my hole is tiny. I also had mine for a few years and it still closed up pretty fast, maybe it was just me though.

It really hurts. It left a small scar on my nose. It looks like a large pore. It never really heals.

I've had my nose pierced. No, it won't scar. If you let it heal completely - like 4 months - it'll take about a year to go completely away.

in all probability a nostril piercing because of the fact the place I stay abdomen button piercings are quite subject-loose and nostril piercings look great (i'm speaking with reference to the fringe of your nostril in case you recommend the interior then abdomen button because of the fact the interior piercings make you look like a bull)

my sister has hers pierced, when she took it out it left a small scar, it wasnt that noticable. hope i was a help

You will not be scarred or anything but once you've grown up you are going to say to yourself that it was pointless
