Dear Inquiring mind!

My son in law is from Karachi Pakistan a Muslim. My daughter a practicing Christian, so I have watched how being unequally yoked married people are in their faith. We have talked a lot about his faith, and they are a works based faith, when they perform a good deed charitable giving and so on, they are rewarded with gold coins towards their heavenly account. Now the down side, they already know their sin will outweigh their good deeds because they do not know whether they have prayed enough, given anough and so on. When the scales eventually measure these two principles they will not ultimately have accumulated enough to make it to heaven. No hope, because they lack the saving grace of Christ. Though their religion has so many very misdirected edicts in it, there are some really wonderful Muslim people. One must approach a Muslim with what they do believe, the Old Testament and the law. By using the law their sin is revealed, then they can be approached with the need of Jesus death, burial and resurrection power and blood atonement on the cross. Pray with them for God to reveal himself and we as Christians know God will perform His word to the completion of it in everyone who seeks Him. No matter what we may think or come to know about other religions, we must always love people even if they make themselves seemingly unlovable. Remembering we are no better than they are while still in sin and being saved only by grace and not by what we can personally do on our own strength. We must never be disrespectful or be cruel concerning their beliefs and show them love no matter what happens. They will be drawn to the love of Jesus in You. As You may be the only Bible they will ever hear. Faith is action.....

Baptists, Methodists, Pentecostals, Jews, Muslims, etc. — must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ in order to enter heaven,” the prominent evangelist said last week in a posting on the “Conservative Voice” Web site.

No one is answering your question (in fact, many responses indicate that people are not even reading the question).

I think that Muslims believe that you get into Heaven if your good deeds out weight the magnitude of your bad deeds.

The Muslim bible speaks of a different heaven than the Christian bible, but they still have a utopia that the just are rewarded with. They do not believe that Jesus, Mary and the Saints are the primary figures there, but it is still heaven to them.
