IMO its too big of an age difference to last a long time. Second, put yourself in his ex's shoes for a min - he's dating someone half her age - how do you think that makes her feel? Bigger question IS HE DIVORCED? (I honestly don't think he's got an "annulment" - ask for proof) There is just so much wrong here and you don't even see it. You are blinded by his niceness and you can't see past the consequences. In 5 yrs he will be 40 and you will be barely in your 20's. You will look at him as "old" and wonder why you are with him. Sorry but you are just 18 yrs old and you should not be in a serious relationship at your age. You need your freedom to do what you want for the next 5 yrs before you make a decision as important as marriage. Can you picture yourself in the next 30 years with him? You will be 48 and he will be 65 - ready to retire and you are at your peak; far from being retired. Your friends are right - this is not a good thing for you no matter how much you think its right. But as with most of us, you refuse to see the "writing on the wall" and will go ahead and marry him and in 5 or 10 yrs you will wish you had listened. We learn in 2 ways - by other's experience and wisdom and our own mistakes - which way do you really want to learn? Added: Also keep in mind that when you are his ex's age, he just may decide he's gonna start dating another 18 yr old. Did you really think of that?

Most of the answers you've rcvd. have some truth to them. And it may be that you made a wonderful impression on them, you must have made them happy and these memories are strong & people always want to have those good feelings they once had again -- they hope that those feelings will be just as good, maybe even better!
They usually don't work out, but there are many people who have found each other again -- and things have worked out wonderfully!
You should also try to remember what broke you up & see if the person has changed or not. If, not, I'd say be nice, but be strong and tell him (them) you are not interested in romance with him(them).
If they dont leave you alone, and you feel afraid, report them! Best Wishes, Barbie (too)

Well, i could say the usal cliches. They didn't know what they had til you were gone, and that garbage, but once a guy looses a girl, no matter how confident they are, there may be some doubt in their mind that they will find someone to up the last person, or even just to find a person. Unless they're total players, guys do get emotionally attached. And once they loose that specail connection they once had, they want it back. and if they don't find it else where, they go back to it like a horse to water.
Then there's always the sex too. if they don't have someone they can play with, guys tend to believe we can just go back and get seconds.

Like the song says "You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone." Plus it's a challenge to see if they can have you after you've refused them. It somewhat bruises their egos because they can't stand to feel like someone else has your head so wrapped up that your not even thinking about them.

They dont want you but they dont want anyone else to have you either . It is really stupid . Some of them really should grow up and realise you cannot have everything you want. Cannot have your cake and eat it too.

Because we never lnow what we have until we lose it. And some times its because we know how they felt about us so we think we can always get her back.
