No. Unless your chinese, japanese or asain you'll never have straight hair that is permanent.
They do however have salons where you can get a japanese straightening, its like a perm but it lasts for six months, and then you just get a touch up

No there is no permanent perm- i had this problem too, when i was younger my hair was straight and then as i got older it got even more curly.... so it was bound to happen I also heard that when you get older of after you have a child your hair goes straight- thats why old women get perms all the time.. lol (weird reasoning)

Hair grows from the root, which is slightly under the scalp. As hair grows it emerges from the scalp and that is why people get new growth. Straight or curly is all depending on our genes. You can chemically alter the hair that has emerged above the scalp skin, but hair will still grow. Even if it is "permanent", you will still get new growth. Several companies tout "permanent" hair straightening, but there is a lot of maintenance most require. Several require that you only use their products for at home care as using the wrong products can cause the hair to revert, or strip the hair of the essentials it needs to stay healty. You will still need to do constant retouches, and those depend on how fast your hair grows. Just remember that they are using chemicals to do these things. Most also require a lengthly straightening process with heat in addition to the chemicals.

Yes and no. You can get your hair permanently straightened but it grows back curly. And it looks weird.
