my gf broke up with me the otherday, and at first i was happy but now im not to sure. am i just not over her yet, or was it really love and i never knew it?

I understand what you feel, we all go through that. It's actually a mix of many reasons.
The main one is probably because, as says the proverb, the neighbour's lawn is always greener.
In any event, the important for you is to hold on, accept the facts, set yourself some goals or find activities that interest you.

first off, you are mourning the death of the relationship. If you really cared for her, it's going to take longer than a day or two to "get over it", if it was really love, you'll have to figure that out for yourself. But now is the time for you to keep yourself busy, and to fill up the time that you would normally spend with her on things that you can now do that maybe you couldn't do before. Like spending more time with friends, family, playing sports, hiking, or whatever .One piece of advice...don't play the game of trying to make her jealous...it doesn't work.

That's what the saying says. You could hate someone's guts but when their not there anymore you relize that you actually loved this person.
Give it a couple more days and try not to think of the two of you together. Just chill out.
And if it is love, and it was meant to be, she'll come back.

It's very common not to realize how much you need or want someone or something until you don't have it. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." When you are in a relationship, its very easy to take someone for granted.

because we are so used to spending time with someone and they are around us for so long its a natural feeling and finaly when they
are gone we have no idea what they ment to us cause they were always right there with us.

sometimes we are blind but if you can easily move on it wasn't love. If you feel like you can'tlive without her now. She has your heart.
