White supremacist gang busted
Gang, weapons, drug crimes alleged

A self-named White supremacist gang suspected of trafficking in methamphetamine and illegal weapons was the target of a 14-month, multi-agency investigation that culminated in 42 indictments on gang, weapons and drug charges.
Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas announced the indictments Friday, while standing behind some of the confiscated weapons, including a .50 caliber gun that could bring down a police helicopter from a mile away.
The group reportedly called itself AZ 88 Boot Boys and operated mainly in west Phoenix and Glendale. Thomas identified its leader as 40-year-old Todd Streich; 32 of the accused have been arrested. advertisement
"These indictments are an important breakthrough in the fight against this violent gang," Thomas said. "This is a hateful group with a dangerous criminal agenda."
According to Assistant Phoenix Police Chief Kevin Robinson, the investigation began when a patrol officer on Phoenix's west side recognized criminal activity among residents that Robinson would not specifically identify.
But his observations launched an investigation that included Phoenix, Glendale and Scottsdale police; the County Attorney's Office; U.S. Marshals and the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Thomas said the group was providing "on demand" sales of illegal weapons. Among those confiscated were 32 pipe bombs, two grenades, seven sawed-off weapons and a machine gun.
Marvin Richardson, assistant special agent for ATF, said undercover officers purchased the .50 caliber gun from people who intended to shoot down a police helicopter. Richardson said shells fired from the gun could pierce tank armor.
"The destructive capacity of those weapons makes the streets much safer without them," Richardson said. "No question."
Besides Streich, who was charged with leading a criminal syndicate, authorities released indictments for 18 men and seven women. The charges against them range from sale of dangerous drugs to trafficking in stolen property, misconduct involving weapons and assisting a criminal syndicate. The other defendants have not yet been served with their indictments.
Thomas's office said all of the defendants face mandatory prison if convicted, and four could spend the rest of their lives there.
There were no hate crimes cited that linked to the group's identity as White supremacists. "We're not calling them that. They're calling themselves that," Robinson said.

If what you were trying to do was point out that not all crimes are committed by Latinos and that "white" america is also capable of doint illegal things and committing awful crimes then I would say you made your point and I applaud you! Perhaps before pointing the finger at other races of being terrorists we should on occasion look at our own citizens as well.

It's good that you ask. The illegal immigration problem only really came to a head over about the last year or so, when people finally started realizing the full scale and scope of it.
The arguments used to promote illegal immigration definitely have some racial overtones, and people are asking a lot of pointed questions about this new, hostile approach.
As it turns out, most of the illegal immigration is, in fact, from Mexico. While the Border Patrol has mentioned that 1 in 4 of the border crossers are 'OTM', the majority are still from Mexico.
There's a huge disparity, dis-parity, meaning inequality, between the economies of the United States, and Mexico. Given Mexico's new domestic policy of 'move to the United States', many are favoring stronger enforcement methods of dealing with the problem, as well as better legislation aimed at 'turning off the magnet' of benefits etc.
All in all, though, it's a bad deal for our country that so many people suddenly feel themselves entitled to help themselves.
It was bad enough when only americans had an entitlement mentality, but with 1/2 the planet trying to join in? It makes you stop, and wonder what people are thinking...

Talking about "whites" going back to Europe, like the one person said, if we hadn't come here, there would be no America. Besides, it was white people who invented a lot of things for you to use--such as the car (Henry FORD), Thomas Edison (the light bulb, motion pictures, among other things), Alexander Graham Bell (the telephone), Albert Einstein (the theory of relativity--yes, he was Jewish--but he was white), Levi Straus(maker of jeans--he was Jewish too, but white), the Wright Brothers (airplanes), etc.....I think you get the idea. Look at Canada, white and a successful country--so is the UK and Europe. But not Mexico and South America and Africa. Not trying to be racist, really I'm not. That's just the way it looks to me.

I think we have more to worry about with all these Hispanic gangs in our country. They are the REAL problem. And I thought this was the immigration category?

I just want to say I find it interesting that some respondents here keep asking what this question has to do with immigration; the way I see it, it has as much as to do as the cut and paste stories offered by the other princess.
As to the post, I find it informative to say the least.

There is no Question here. There are also the bloods the cryps that are primearely black does that mean we ship all of them back to Africa? Latinos have all kind of gangs over here too, does that mean we ship all latinos home? There are even asian gangs over here. I gues all that need to be here are Native American Decendants by what you are saying. Thats fine by me I'm native american and would be glad to see everyone else leave.

Unless I missed something, this has nothing to do with immigration. If you want to waste your time repeatedly posting a pointless article, go ahead.
