That's because the chips you take from someones else plate have no calories. I thought everyone new that!!!

My partner does exactly that!!
I think it has something to do with that gorgeous chip smell, although the smell is always nicer than the chips once you have a few.

I get this and it is irritating. Your partner is taking advantage of your gluttonous nature. If you let it continue, it will just get worse and you will never feel full after a takeaway. Do you want that?

Yeah that is so annoying, it is probably cause they don't think that they are hungry, but that salt n vinegar smell is enough to get any belly rumbling. The downfall of many a diet.

maybe cuz they know they wont eat a whole order? you could ask if they would like to share, before you order, that way you can get a larger size or an exrta order if you will both, if they only eat a few

Oh i do that, sorry. I don't really like chips but when you see somebody else with them you kinda just have to have one..

AGH I hate that, I will ask my husband do you want anything from the store, he will say no, I will buy something I like then his *** will take it, I get mad so mad! So I started just getting things for him, but he doesn't do it for me. LOL

my partner does this with all food items . They don't want there own they want some of yours i think it is some kind of domination

Well, because they didn't fancy the idea then but they do now. And just one right, it won't hurt the ol' waist line!?! I hate it when my husband does that to me!!
