It depends on how old you are. I moved out when I was 20 and, looking back on it, my parents were very easy going with me. I think about all the money I wasted on bills and rent and buying my own food when I could've lived there for another 2 or 3 years. Now, if you're over 25 and living at home....I think it's time to move out.

Depending on your age, I believe at least around 25 you should be trying to get a place of your own. Just so that you can become an actaul adult. However, if your younger and not as finacially staple you may wanna wait it out. The longer your home the more you depend on your parents, which is a little ridiculous if your dating and more(if you know what i mean). Otherwise dont rush it, make wise choices!

it depends on you and your folks and how old you are. If you can stay at home and not drive each other crazy - its a great way to save money till you are ready to move out. In many cultures it's the norm to stay at home even after you are married.
I have friends who stayed home and paid their parents nominal rent/food money to help out - they saved quite a bit and eventually bought a place of their own when they got married. Kept them out of debt and built a good relationship with the parents.

If you are 18 then you should live on your own.The pros are you take responsibilitys, you get your privacy, your parents get their privacy, you can do what you want etc..................The only con is that you can not see your parents daily if you move too far away.
