I came home to find a yellow sticker of a dog on my mailbox. It was on too neatly for my young son to have put it on himself. Was this something my carrier would have done, or should I be getting after the neighborhood kids? I assume it's to notify the carrier of a dog at the property. While it's true that I have a dog, the mailbox is outside and away from an enclosed fence. More often than not, the dog isn't outside when the mail is being delivered. Is the sticker something that will effect the delivery of my mail? Are we being put on notice for something? I didn't really notice any other stickers on other mailboxes of dog owners on the block . There was no pamphlet or anything explaining the sticker if it was from the USPS. Just curious, if it turns out to be a school kid doing it, do I call the local police or FBI? I'm guessing FBI since mail is a Federal office.

The first step would be to either catch your mail carrier, and ask him/her, or to ask at your local post office..It may be a regional thing, recently began, to identify homes with a dog in the yard, in case of special delivery packages...As the Holidays are approaching, with a lot of packages, the carrier may just want to know where the outdoor dogs live..

The stickers on the back of the helmets indicate that that particular player has on field communications in his helmet. This was done in large part due to Seneca Wallace, who is a backup QB for the Seattle Seahawks also playing as a wide receiver on a few downs. Teams are only allowed to have one player with communications equipment on the field at a time, so having Hasselback pass to Wallace when they both had the equipment was deemed "unfair". How a receiver would be helped by comm. equipment is beyond me...but there's your answer.

Since it is obvious that you do not have a clue about obedience training, your services should be for free. You cannot train even an adult dog for 8 hours a day. About the most that can be done at any one time is 10 - 20 minutes and that is with an adult dog and not a puppy. The attention span on this baby is extremely short and training session should be no more than 10 minutes and twice a day. Additionally, there isn t going to be much learned if you will only be training for 5 days. Obedience training is cumulative and is done over a much longer period of at least several weeks to several months.
What you can charge is determined by your experience, reputation, and accomplishments and in a case like this, should also include guaranteed expectations. Just working with dogs over several years, is not the experience that is necessary to be a dog trainer. There are too many people who are putting that title to their name and fleecing the public. Don t be one of them.

I have never heard of this but if there is a number on it call and see. I would in the mean time maybe photograph the sticker and then take it off. It is on again then maybe leave a note stuck under it for an explanation.

It's possible that it could have been a kid in the neighborhood being a jerk. We had one down the street that spray painted a red X on ours.

Probably someone just put it on there just for kicks. I don't think this is a bad thing to worry about. It was just probably some kid.
