I don't know what happens to it, but whatever you do, don't let the dog suffer. My family had a dog for 10 years, and she had so many problems with her that we had no choice but to put her to sleep. I don't about your dog, if it is suffering or not, but take it to the vet to know for sure what is going to happen to your dog. Good luck!

I don't think there is anything the vet or you can do about it. It's like a person. The vet might give you meds for your dog but I don't know.
