Actually, pretty much everyone has crazy beliefs. Atheists may not have them when it comes to religion, but when it comes to (for example) politics, I'm sure that the liberal atheists and conservative atheists can spot all kinds of craziness in each others' thinking.

There are also plenty of atheists who have been socialized into atheism, rather than discovering the rationales behind atheism by reading and thinking. Such atheists may believe in the right things, but for strange or ill-thought-out reasons. That brand of non-religion isn't much different from theism.

Poor things. You've got to pity them really. They need us on here to give them a reality check now and again. Lost and brainwashed they are.

My revelation just now was, Why would an all-good God prepare a lake of fire for those who didn't toe-the-line? I mean, that's thinking ahead isn't it ... we didn't stand a chance.

I have no issues with those who choose to believe in god.

My problems start once they try and demean me for not subscribing to their belief.

Why would you spend your time in this forum if you have no religious beliefs? I agree that some people here are religious fanatics. I'm here to try and help them. But why are you here?

Just because a Christian says something other than your opinion doesn't make it wrong. God bless, Val
