If we take a close look at the Koran, there are many passages in there that encourage violence against non-believers. How can this possible be a true religion, on that condones the killing of innocent people just because we don't believe in the same things that they do?

First of all there is nothing in the Holy Quaran about the marriages or life of the Prophet, the only thing we have are hadiths which are a collection of words of the Prophet and early Muslims. Many Hadiths are known to be authentic while others are suspect. The age at which the Prophet Muhammed(pbuh) married Aisha is not known, nor is the age at which she joined his household, this is only estimated based on other events that happened at the time. Aisha was the daughter of the Prophets friend and trusted companion Abu Bakr and hadiths give her date of birth in 614, married to the prophet in 622 ( age 8) and say that the marriage was consummated in 623 at the age of 9. She was married to the Prophet for a period of only 10 years. But there are other hadiths that say she was older(12-19) If these ages seem very young to you remember the life span was much shorter then and women often died in childbirth, especially older women. (Remember that King Tut becomes King at the age of 9)The marriage was supported by her father and it is said that it was for political reasons. It was the custom in Arabia at this time for a girl to marry as soon as she reached the age of puberty although many times a girl was betrothed before this time, this is why although considered married the marriage was not consummated until she was older.
As for the Prophet rewriting history, the Bible has been editied, rewritten and reinterpreted many times throught history. The Koran is the only revelation from Allah that still exists in its origional form and has never been changed, it has been interpreted in many languages but any scholar can compare it to its origional and find the true meaning. This cannot be said of the Bible which had men deciding which parts to include and which parts to omit. Were the dead sea scrolls origionally supposed to be part of the Bible? What about the Agnostic Bible which has other parts that have been omitted in the King James version?
No one knows for sure. We do know however thay this was not done by the Muslims so blame your fellow Christians on that.

If the 'p' word is 'pissed' , then I don't know, but I don't see why not. I guess I'll find out if anyone reports me. (:p)
As for the issue about Mohammad marrying Aisha, I am not a great fan of Islam, but think they may have a point. I know that customs regarding child marriage have varied a good deal from culture to culture, so I wouldn't be too quick to assume that it was molestation as we think of it. In the Middle East even now, it is not uncommon for children to be married at 9 and 12. But they don't live together or consummate the marriage until they are much older. Also, the boy and girl are very close in age so that they will grow old together. Still, this concept is very alien to the Western mind, and deserves courteous discussion. Who knows, such a discussion might actually help us understand the times and customs in which Jesus lived! We have a lot to learn.
As for the death and resurection of Jesus, these are certainly very relevent points of disagreement between Islam and Christianity, and I think, could be courteously discussed by those who are interested.
Hoping the best for you...

Your "questions" have been answered several times in a very mature and honorable way by many many Muslims on Yahoo Answers over the last several months. I feel from the tone of your "questions" it will be fairly useless to offer an answer here.
Here is a question though...
Did the Roman empire re-write the Gospels of Jesus to consolidate their waning power?
Peace be with you and your family.

I can't really give you a complete list of things that might piss someone off, but I can make some suggestions. Muslims seem to be very sensitive about any comments or questions about their prophet PBUH. I don't know whether any particular Muslim will be as sensitive to other people's values as to his or her own, but I know that it is a very human thing to get pissed off when we feel insulted. I like to think that God helps me find patience and helps me to avoid reacting with hostility any time I feel insulted, but I know that not everyone shares that idea.
But you are responsible for your Q&A goals. If you want answers, you may have to ask questions that don't offend the person you are asking. If you are only trying to piss people off, you might be on the right track.

1. I think it's bad form to spell out cuss words, and I think the "p" word is a cuss word, however many do not, so to them it's ok.
2. Yes, I think you should stop these types of question. Or at least phrased the way you do. I've read several of you questions, and they seem to be very confrontational. Nothing good comes from being confrontational. Perhaps if you reword your questions to include the points you want to make, but without instigating, people wouldn't be so angry at you.

. It is, by definition, impossible for it to be "jewish" to believe in jesus. "Jewish" is, by defintion, what jews have historically and contemporarily believe. Since in neither scenario do we find "believing in jesus", then we must clearly realize that belief in jesus is not something "jewish". You can call it "biblical" (and still be wrong), but certainly not "jewish".
. On the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). Clearly this isn't about jesus.
. And Isaiah 7 is clearly not messianic if you read the whole chapter. and "alma" doesn't mean virgin either. You'd know that if you spoke hebrew (I guess it wasn't part of your "extensive jewish upbringing", huh?)
. On the side, Isaiah 9 can't be about jesus since, according to christianity, he's the "son" not the "father" (as the verse states). Nor did he have control of the government (to the contrary, the roman government killed him). And he certainly did not establish "endless peace".

oh, and lastly, I've decided that you truly epitomize everything I find intensely intellectually unsatisfying about christianity. (And you clearly do not understand hebrew.)

Let's try, "pissed off", we'll see when I post this if it gets censored.
As to the larger question. I don't think there's anything wrong with asking a question, ever. The worst that can happen is the asker gets exposed as ignorant.
Having said that, I see that quite a few of your "questions" aren't really asking anything. You seem to get lost in a religous rant quite easily.

Oh. Hickory tap dancing NUTS!! Man, if you are letting Poki Poki get to you, you are a cherry. Your skin will thicken over time. Make a pilgrimage to the Sacred Nut Trees of Cydonia, and make a smoked offering of almonds. Poki will bother thee no more. Be blessed in the name of the Nut Goddess, and may nut butter be upon you.

If you have a question needs answering, ask it. But don't be peeved if some people get offended. A lot of people have nine yr old daughters or have had. You can see why it can be quite upsetting.
