Normally you cannot take water through security BUT do the following:
1. Contact the airline directly NOW and tell them of your requirement for water and the reason why. All aircraft carry water, but you may need to have special water (?) such as de-mineralised. The airline MAY require you to produce what is known as a "MEDIF" or medical information form which they will provide you with for completion. This is why:
2. Obtain NOW a letter from your Doctor stating the nature of your disorder and that you do require to have water at all times. Take this letter with you when you pass security and show it to them. Prescription drugs are allowed (and there is no reason in the world why water should not be prescribed - hence the letter)
You can buy water after security - but this is not a guarantee. What happens if they have run out of stock, for example - so get that GP's letter!

The only restrictions regarding liquids affect Heathrow and flights to the States, all other airports are back to normal. Take your water with you, it is highly unlikely that it will be confiscated, (you may however be asked to drink some of it as you pass security... this ensures it´s simply water and nothing "dangerous"). And even if it does get confiscated, you will be able to buy some in the shops the other side. There is NO need to contact the airline, the airport or anybody else in advance, doing so will simply cost you half an hour in a queue waiting to speak to somebody, who will more than likely repeat what I´ve just said.

You will not be able to take any liquids through security point at airport, once into the dept lounge though there will be a WH Smiths where you can buy water and on board you will again be able to buy water, or if you can prove a medical requirement for it, they might provide it free for you. Ask your travel agent to make a note of your condition in the booking so that the airline are aware of it in advance.

the security on airports and with airlines has normalized again, so there would be no problems taking your water along.
What you should do, instead of taking water along, why don't you just phone your travel agent, or you airline, and tell them you need to have water during the whole flight. They will note it down, and you'll have botteled water during the whole flight without having to carry it around! If you tell the flight attendant, he/she would be glad to be of help and supply you with water as much as you need it!!!

where are you going from?

You should be able to buy water when you get though security and again on the flight so shouldn't be a problem if you aren't allowed to bring liquids

Buy it on the other side - no problem them! You cant get through security with any fliuds or liquids. They seem to allow lipstick now - but I wouldnt chance it with anything expensive just in case!

Too late - just noticed when you fly!!
