It's around £60 for a new full passport and I recommend getting one as soon as you can because from 2007 passports are going to have eye scans on them and other bits & bobs which will mean the passports are estimated to cost around £100

and the real answer is $65.00, I just got mine a few months ago and that is the price i paid!! you will also need to send to passport photos with your applaction,
the cost of that is like $7.00
you can get your photos talen at wllgreens or any where they taks passport photos, be advised some places can charge $20.00 for photos, I find wallgreens to be the cheapest!! good luck!! and have fun where ever you may be using the passport!!

We just applied for my husband's U.S. passport last week and it was $141.00 check which (includes $67 for rush deliver in 2 weeks & overnight delivery) & $30 cash (for application fee & pictures). It's pretty expensive.
