I am going to be going to a 3 year olds birthday party this weekend and I have been put in charge of playing games with the kids. Is there anyone on here that has like 3 or 4 game ideas for this age group? It has been a long time since I played games with children in this age group. HELP PLEASE!!!!
Also just to let you know we are going to be inside a community center. So I need games that the kids won't get hurt playing inside.
There will be between 15 and 20 children.

Kids this age love to stimulated by helping them use thier imagination. Have you ever heard of the "Bear Hunt"? Just be silly and happy with them. It can exercise your own imagination too. Pretend to be looking for the bear cave with the big brown bear. You'll have to go through the swamp and the jungle and a many number of places. Use everyday items and make then fit into the story. Have fun yourself. Pretend that there are no adults around at all, this will help you to not be so shy to act silly. Good Luck

You can't beat hitting a pinata filled with candy. They like playing versions of pin the tail on the donkey, could be pin the trunk on the elephant. Musical balloons..the music stops and child sits on or squeezes balloon til it pops, fun to have a treat or prize in each. Important at that age that all have a turn at winning though. Its about fun not competition.

Musical chairs, but do it with numbers on the chairs so no one gets left out. When the music stops you pick a number and whoever is in that seat gets a small prize.. Ring toss, the bean bag throw, of course pin the tail on the donkey, freeze dance is also fun, duck duck, goose, leap frog. Good luck...

sure why not play games like pin the tail on the donkey, or duck duck goose , bingo , or hot potato . you can on alot of web pages and find games just do A search for childrens birthday party games

Well of course....pin the tail on the donkey (or pin the nose on the clown whatever)
Pinata- BUT not the kind you swing at the one with the srtings you pull to open the pinata, I have seen them at Walmart
Face painting- That might be hard to do on your own though
