What religion do you practice, and why do you practice that religion? Also, for those who have a religion, why do you falsly accuse other religions of worshipping a wicked "evil?" Just because they don't practice the same religion as you? I've seen many people, especially in christianity, Call others that practice christianity satists, or saying they are going to hell because they don't practice this religion. In the bible it states that, satan will turn brother against brother. So why do people do it?

Buddhism, I forgot why I do it.

Good and evil are two sides of the same coin.

People do it because they all have a different coin even though it's the same currency.

JJ, that's a very thought provoking question.
I am a dedicated christian. According to the Bible, Jesus said that he was the only way to God. So either Jesus was telling the truth and there is no other valid religion, or he was a liar and an absolute nut job. People need to make that decision for themselves.
The only qualification to be a christian is to believe that 1. Jesus was God 2. he died, to pay the price for your sins (that we could never pay ourselves. 3. he was resurrected and 4. that he will come again to judge the unbelievers and bring the believers into eternal life. The problems start to surface when all the peripheral doctrines are interpreted in different ways.
We are suppossed to love everyone, not just fellow christians, but people are not perfect and sometimes selfishness, egos, and power struggles get in the way. And this sets a bad example for all of us.

there are incredibly VERY, very few fake rape accusations made. i'm reading this in family contributors regulation actual now. for somebody to return forward some rape is regularly an act of braveness. the fake accuser shouldn't get off scott-loose - if no longer something the guy she victimized could desire to look at a civil action. did he then pass to the police and report a pretend arrest, and so on rfile or did he basically believe the device to realize out and maximum appropriate itself?

I refer to myself as spiritual but not religious. I have explored several religions, hindu, islam, judaism, shinto, wicca, buddism, as well as others. In addition to that my last boyfriend had been in the army for several years and had been sent to Bosnia and Haiti during those conflicts. Both of those conflicts had a large religious rational behind them, which impacted his faith greatly. With the impact of all of these things I have not found a faith that fits my beliefs.

I have a great deal of faith and very strong beliefs. But I do not subscribe to any specific faith. And to an extent, partially due to my ex, I am anti organized religion. I find it highly hypocritcal for any one to go to war based on their faith. That is the opposite of everything that faith is. Eventually, for the sake of raising a family, I will have to find a church and faith that I can subscribe to. Because with out that I don't know how to give my children a solid religious upbringing.

I think many faiths and cultures, especially those in America, are taught that anything that is different from them is evil or wrong. If you truely examine the Catholica and most christian faiths most of their ritual, ceremonies, and icons are taken from the pagan religions. In order to convert these items and mantain a hold on them they had to scare people into beliveing the pagan ways were wrong. Much of the christian, especially Catholic, faith is founded on fear and makeing other beiefs to be evil.

I am a Christian. Why do I follow Christ? Because He is the Truth, the way and the Life.
He said, I did not.
It would help if you knew and understood the Bible- it is a love letter from God to us. Through out history, God has been trying to get our attention- to show us there is a better way to live. When Jesus came to earth- He came to save the world, not condemn it.
Now you ask how can we say that if you do not follow Jesus Christ- you are following evil? Well Jesus made it pretty plain to all who have ears- that to follow God is the real religion- the way.
Also saying the truth ( as we see it ) does not mean we are judgmental-
Jesus said there was only one way to the Father- and that was through Him.
Again- He said it-

Even in the days of Christ he attracted a few righteous adherents, but many very violently opposed his doctrine--so much so that he was falsely accused of trumped up charges, and by popular acclaim was put to death.

Today little has changed because Satan influences many to persecute the saints and to drive them away if possible. Years ago it was physical, but now it is mental wherein the influence of the devil reigns supreme in many hearts who unknowingly cast their contentions upon the followers of Christ.

There is goodness in all religions that profess the Christ to be the Son of God and Savior to all mankind. Many religions follow doctrine of men, shaped through the centuries to suit the tastes of their own dogma while others simply call all others of the devil.

Such accusations and contentions of the devil's influence will remain with us until Christ comes again, to establish His kingdom on earth and to reign in righteousness for a thousand years.

How do we stop false accusations and persecutions? We can't but by unfeigned love and humility, with contrite prayer always to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. Even so, Christ Himself will put an end to it--not us.

correction the bible states in jesus words " i have come to pit father against son, daughter against mother, and brother against brother" saying that he wants people to love him and his father in heaven more than even their own blood. and true christians dont go around babling such nonsence about "your religion is wrong and mine is right" that is not what god wanted us to do he wants us to follow him not a specific church. if your church teaches the bible and its truths the correct way then you have found where you need to be, following god. not the men who run a building

practice a " customized version of Christianity " with other belief systems and Native American along with other Ancient Ways thrown in for good measure because it works for me because of my personal idiosyncrasies. what and how you believe is up to you because GOD is to big to be in one place and there are many paths and ways to arrive at ones destination. arriving is the important thing -- not how one gets there
