Jeremy--I want you to know it is admirable to step up to the plate and honestly open up your angry feelings. Here are some suggestions:

I would encourage you to talk to a School Counselor or an adult with whom you respect and admire; not necessarily one who will just agree with you. Be willing to hear it all.

On your own, sit down with a piece of paper and list what are things about Austin that you dislike.

Then think about what is behind Austin's behavior? Is he annoying because he doesn't have a dad/mom and is dying for acceptance which displays itself in lots of ugly ways?

Is he annoying because he does stuff to get everyone's attention? Is he annoying because he is a "know it all"? Is he different?

Ask yourself lots of questions. Put it on paper. Then study the situation of his behavior. Watch him in a "good" way. Why is he the way he is. You may end up being his best friend.

Think about it. Write about it. I would encourage you to pray about it.

Part of the process of growing up is learning to deal with all kinds of people and all kinds of situations. There are some we can deal with on our own and there are some that are over the top in which we need help. It takes a "tall" guy to face the issues and to learn from them. You'll be a leader in your pack to do so.

I really, really hope you'll make this a growing experience and I wish you well.

And why do you feel like beating him up? Have you not seen what is going on in schools and now you put this up. Leave the kid alone. If he is bothering you then do the right thing and report him.

Think twice about this. Why do you want to beat him up, because he is different than you? Violence isn't the way to go, many schools have a zero tolerance for this sort of thing. Talk to an adult you trust, your teacher, parent, someone, and get these feelings of wanting to hit out. Don't do it, you could really hurt someone.

why do you feel like beating him up...? if hes annoying you; use little jokes to embarrass him, everyone will think its funny and perhaps he wont bother you. if he is physically harrassing you, you should tell an adult about it. i am a highschooler and i know that this person may have friends and tease you even more but still, you dont want to go through school as a bully yourself or a whimp, [try the joke thing..it works for me].

get a life and stop picking on others to make yourself feel better!

you should be careful with who you pick on, the next person just may kill you.

pick up a book, go to church or join some sort of club.
