I never had any real preferences on who or what I'd become. Everything you experience throughout your life helps to decide who you are. Your life gives you choices and you decide what to do with them. Noone grows up to be "who they always wanted to be" because each new experience gives you a new point of view. Life doesn't "let you be" anything either, because only the individual can decide how they want to let life experiences affect, or change their outlook and personality. Whatever you are is a combination of past experiences, intellegence, education, and personal choices. What I am is: happy with who I am, and grateful for all the experiences I've had. If this helped you, I'm glad.

You can only be what the life and times and location will let you be, but if what you 'always' wanted to be kinda fits in with that, that is a bonus. If you always got what you wanted and got your own way then you must have been a spoiled brat, but if your parents were rich enough to ride out that storm and you were smart enough then .... naw, I'm afraid that you would be a pompous egotistical self-righteous boor. You might even be G.W. Bush.

Hrm...Well I want to be rich, but other than that I'm in a good spot for my age. I want to progress, not regress with time though.

My life is what I settled for. It is not what I'd hoped for, nor am I what I aspired to be.
