here's my method:

fill the tub part way with warm water,
have scented candles around, and the lights out.

drink cold water before going in, have one handy for thirst,

put sea-salt in the water ( its in the fish section at wal-mart)
or epsom salt if you like( makes you skin soft)
I like to play some opera ( but of course whatever relaxing music you like)

get in the water and run it warm as you can stand it,
fill it near to the top.

( sometimes I use bubbles, or scented oil)

allow the water to lift you ( boyancy) feel the lightness of your body,
swirl water over body part that are not submerged,

( I keep a hand towel handy to wipe away sweat, or water in my face)
after I have soaked for a while, I will sit up,
use a stone on my feet and hands ( or if time is short, just my hands)
then use liquid soap( with moisturizer), with your now smooth hands
( I never wash my hair in the tub)
sometimes i soak somemore,

but when I am all though, I get out, and take a breif shower, ( and wash my hair in the shower)
I do a general dry off.
I then lay undressed on my bed, and blow a fan over my body, to cool off, ( to close the pores)

sometimes I will have a small glass of wine before the bath, just to help the muscles relax more,
of course,
taking a hot bath, will dehydrate you some, as well as drinking,
so make sure you are drinking the cool water too...

:)

oh yeah, and turn off the phone so no one can distract you.

Lie down in water after filling tub. Add bubble bath/oil if liked. Have book and glass of wine whilst soaking.

Fill the bath with water at a comfortable temperature, get into the water, wash yourself then get out of the bath, dry yourself with a towel and empty the water out, not forgetting to clean up afterwards.

make sure it's at night, run the bath so it's quite hot, put something like Radox in it, trust me, you might think it's weird but it's really relaxing, have a nice hot drink on the side, and just lay there and relax, I can spend like 50 minutes in the bath doing this and I only get out when the water goes cold.

Put in the plug, fill half way with water and get in. Better yet, have a shower, it's cleaner, quicker, and uses way less water.

I usually fill it with cold water, then top it up with sea weed, and soak in it for an hour!
Why is there another way???
