Nope, if you say you believe in God and commit crimes, then you are not truly a God-believer. Believers in God will stand up for what is good and right and not use Him as an excuse for committing crimes!

What do the two have to do with each other? I don't understand how believing in God can be an alibi for crime and violence. I believe in God and there is nothing about my belief that leads me to believe I can get away with anything. What you be reading?

no but its one of several things people use to justify their crimes. I did a psychology paper on serial killers and it was interesting to see either there lack of the ability to feel guilt at all or their rationalizations they use to block it. One was the whole "well god told me to do it" the other was "i'm just helping the community". Jack the ripper and a few others thought that killing prostitutes and other "slum" of the community was a service or good deed. It's amazing how contorted human beings can make the're own realities.

Insanity plea is the best alibi. Don't have to do much to prove your insane. It's incredibly easy to fake if you're smart enough

And there are more cases of god told me to then the devil told me to. The people who do such atrocities usually think that what they did wasnt wrong. If they are religious then they see god as good and the devil as evil and therefore tend to think god spoke to them and told them to go on a holy crusade to clense a particular populations. i.e. gays, prostitutes etc...

Many instances are also the acts of branches of religions that take things to the extremes. If you know of david koresh then you might feel disgusted ar the thought that such people consider themselves christian. At WACO david Koresh led a religious sect of close to 143 people that believed that the world was coming to an end and that he was the next messiah. He led these people to believe he was jesus and that what he said was fact. He also decided to train every single one of his religious pupils in using firearms. He had automatic assault weapons along with an entire arsenal of armaments. He even went as far as fathering children with every female that believed in him. even if the were under age or married. The husbands were so faithful that they stopped having sex with their wives so david could breed his holy army. He taught that the government was bad and when the government went to seize illegal assault weapons they decided to fight back which led to a verrrry long stand off that got four swat members killed along with over 80 of the religious members. Very few survived in the compound due to a controversial fire that ingulfed it. All because some nut thought he was jesus.

Once again, don't you think you should stop generalizing, as though all Christians are killers or perpetrators of hate crimes, or if we aren't, it's only because we haven't acted on it?

Unfortunately, I know a lot of crimes and violence are committed "in the name of God", and it gives the rest of us a bad rap. If a person commits crimes in the name of God, they are delusional. The great majority of believers in any god-fearing society don't condone crimes and violence, even crimes committed by someone who claims to be acting on the will of God.

What ever chosen to call what causes and sustains..where ever imagined, or who, ever imagines it is. It is of mutually considerate orientation. However in our reality virtually ignored. It nurtures, cultivate, and renews those that commune commonly and consecrate collectively.

None can presume to name the unknown and yes believing in gods and idols is the ultimate motive for such atrocity, however and while I get your drift, our rendering has no alibi.

How proud, arrogant and selfish, are we of little fate. Most within our species, when seen from a "god's eye view" journey toward extinction. Any and perhaps all will reach final destination, unless common and mutual orientation is held.

However most of us maintain limiting constituency and in as much, do not deserve

However each one, can still choose to be...differently.

No. In fact I've heard people use the "The Devil made me do it." excuse more often than "God told me to do it.". In most courts of law people who say God told them to commit a crime are usually convicted because God is seen as the ultimate source of good while people who say Satan spoke to them can get off on an insanity plea sometimes.

No, it's the ultimate excuse to force your beliefs on others who will believe and to collect money from them. The violence is a side-show. The crimes .. well, everyone has a touch of the seven deadly sins in them... don't they?

Some religions believe that its an excuse all will answer for their deeds nobody will be excused of that so whatever you believe i would rethink on what is going to happen when you leave here anyway you will soon find out.
