I agree. We need Christian warriors who aren't scared to vigorously defend their beliefs and who revel in the cut and thrust of serious debate, not wishy washy pansies who complain that atheists are persecuting them.

Why are people so obsessed with judging? Why the need to judge? This is certainly not the way Jesus acted towards the woman brought before him under charges of adultery, to whom he said, "Neither do I condemn you." And to her accusers who came judging her, he offered the challenge of executing their stone-throwing judgement to "him who is without sin." Jesus found in human judgements only hypocrisy, which is why he challenged us to move beyond it - "77 times 7" and not just seven times forgiveness.

In fact, Jesus explicitly said, "I came not to condemn the world, but to save it."

He also said, "The son of man came not to be served, but to serve." Perhaps less time should be spent on judgement. And a LOT more spent on service.

For the final judgement is well described in Matthew 25:31-46. And he's not going to ask you about who you judged, and you will receive no credit for it.

He IS, on the other hand, going to ask you about who you served.

I don't see many Christians on Yahoo. I see hate, anger, confusion, and alot of disrespect. God speaks alot about judgement in the Bible, however, He speaks more of love. The 2nd greatest commandment of all is to love one another. Only second to the greatest commandment being love your Father in Heaven with all your heart and soul. If you are judging others to the point that you can not have love and compassion for them then you are wrong my friend.

"....speak the truth in love, and grow up in all things into the Head, who is Christ..." Eph. 4:15 paraphrased. Some people like to emphasize truth, some love, some grow up, some the Head, even Christ. What matters is that these things be proclaimed, not that one perfected person proclaim them all at once. But your point is well taken; timidity is really not a viable option.

Hoping the best for you...

Too many people tries to take a verse out of the bible, & they don't understand themselves what it means, So to prove to you that we can Judge, Turn to 1st Corintians 6:2 Do ye know that the SAINTS shall Judge the world.------3: Know ye not that we shall Judge angels--- Who is that to do the Judging, The BRIDE of Christ when he returns to dwell with his bride upon this earth for 1000 yrs. Now do you need more scriptures, I have them, Turn to Revelation 19:14 And the armies ( SAINTS) which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen white & clean, The bride is Clothed in fine linen, The foolish virgins is clothed in white robes. Now do you need more verses. I can give you more to study. The Bible also says we shall know them by their fruits.

It's God's job to judge.

Matthew 7:1-5:

Do Not Judge Others

“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. 2 For you will be treated as you treat others.[a] The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.[b]

It is my job to discern what goes on around me.

BIG difference.

The bible also says to become all things to all men.

Thanks for pointing that out. that is something I deal with a lot. How much is because I love and how much is because I judge? Thank you and God bless you.
