Adding Subtitles?

Question

HOw 2 add subs to a ready made movie? ive got this movie, BAttle Royale 2 which is a japanese film but there is no subtitle in it.... how 2 add the subs?

Get a .srt file which is a subtitle file (if u look around you should find one) then get ffdshow, change the settings in it so that subtitles come up automatically when you run avi files, don't forget to rename the .srt file the same as the .avi i.e. Battleroyal.avi = Battleroyal.srt and put them in the same folder.

Then using winavi, you can convert the .avi to a dvd file and hopefully it will convert it with the subs on it.

I think that's how it works.

Or use avi2dvd as per the link below, but I believe it is a lot slower.
