why do some say go to a mosque? It is a christian thing to do, Paul says so and Paul has his teachings from Jesus, but nowadays, or even before today (?) the christians don't seem to follow it why is that?

I think it's disrespectful to say "he's paul, not jesus", he has as much importance as jesus, or moses or rut or anybody else.

The Mennonites, Brethren in Christ, German Baptists and Christian Apostolics all wear head coverings. Check a church directory on the internet for one near where you live.

The reason why women did it in the first place goes back to the social mores of the time. In Paul's time, one very obvious way to identify a prostitute was by her shaved head. If such prostitute were to attend worship sessions with the more devout, it was out of respect that she would cover her head, so not to offend the others in worship service. Today, there's no need for that, because prostitutes aren't identified by shaving their heads.

Paul said in Corinthians for a woman to pray with her covered or otherwise she will disgrace the one over her, which is her husband.

He also said it is a shame for a man to pray with his head covered, so a man should not be covered or wear a hat.

And a little further down he said her hair was given to her for a covering which would imply not to cut all your hair off or have short hair.

1. Paul lived almost 2,000 years ago. Times have changed.

2. He was addressing a specific problem with a specific church 2,000 years ago.

3. He's Paul, not Jesus.

Most Greek/Russian Orthodox churches still require you to do this, as do all Pope Pius X Society Catholic masses (Tridentine Mass). If you wanted to cover your head, you could at any service: it is a tradition the three Abrahamic faiths all shared at one point or another.

All the Nuns that I have seen wear Hijab--headdress. They cover all of their feminine attractions. Good to look. Muslim women may also kindly be allowed to wear modest dress. That shall be a true Christian bahaviour.

He also says women are given their hair as a covering. Besides that, in a home the little children do not need to cover their head. If we are God's children why do we need to cover our head?

Jesus is your head covering, but if you want to wear one for yourself, I don't see why any church would have an issue with it. Just don't have an issue with the women that choose not to wear one.

Isn't there a Biblical quote of his saying he 'will not suffer a woman to teach'?
